As a ministry of Southwood, HIGH-LIFE desires to recruit, equip and train individuals who express an interest in Youth Ministry through a local church. Short-term summer internships allow college students to run along side leaders and staff to learn the ropes in ministry. These internships run from June to August and will incorporate all aspects of the HIGH-LIFE ministries. The first priority of our interns will be to grow in their understanding of Christ and the work of His glorious Kingdom as demonstrated through the life and community of Southwood. Practically, these interns will better enable us to reach and serve the students and parents of HIGH-LIFE by maintaining an active ministry during a very busy summer schedule. Consider them as additional “sons and daughters” of Southwood and take advantage of the opportunity to show them some down-home southern hospitality and love! Remember them in prayer and let’s see what God has in store.
